FLISOL 2011

Hello!  Today was the FLISOL (Festival Latinoamericano de Instalación de Software Libre - Latinoamerican Festival of Free Software Installation) at Ciudad del Saber.  It was full of speeches and workshopsFedora and other Linux distros communities were present.

I gave a speech about the FUDCon LATAM 2011, including the people who is going to attend, the possible topics and general information.   This is the slides I used (thanks to Alejandro Perez for the content and Juan Barba for the design). Also I had a workshop about Diaspora*.

One of the speakers, Adrian Scott, held a mini Python programming contest, which was to develop two functions.  The first was to calculate the Fibonacci series in an optimal way and the second was to print the pair numbers from 1 to 100 in only one line.  Juan Barba (aka xHaksx) and I (aka potty) won these tasks.  This year FLISOL was great.  Many people attend it and were interested in Fedora.  I hand out Live Media to them.

Here are some photos (thanks to Alejandro Pérez aka aeperezt for them) of the event:
