Hotot: Alternative Microblogging Client

This time I present a microblogging client that I found quite complete: Hotot. I quite liked it by the features it has:

• Clear and simple interface.
• Easy to use.
• Multiplatform.
• Open source.
• Support for Twitter and Identica.
• You can preview images and videos.
• You can follow the thread of the messages.
• Handles multiple columns.
• Integrated notifications with the operating systems.
• You are able to obtain geographic information from the messages.
• Handles plugins and different themes (is an application that fit your needs).
• Excellent content filter.

The only drawback I noticed is that it is still in development (there is no stable release, therefore is not included in the Fedora repositories). However, it doesn't caused me problems.

Hotot: Cliente Alternativo de Microblogging

En esta ocasión les presento un cliente de microblogging que me pareció bastante completo: Hotot.  Me gustó bastante por las características que tiene:

• Interfaz clara y sencilla.
• Fácil de utilizar.
• Multiplataforma.
• Código abierto.
• Soporta Twitter y Identica.
• Puedes previsualizar imágenes y videos.
• Se lleva el hilo de los mensajes.
• Maneja múltiples columnas.
• Tiene notificaciones integradas a tu sistema operativo.
• Te permite obtener información geográfica de los mensajes.
• Se puede manejar complementos y diferentes temas (es una aplicación a tu medida).
• Excelente filtro de contenidos.

El único incoveniente que noté es que todavía está en proceso de desarrollo (no existe una versión estable, por tanto no está incluido en los repositorios de Fedora).  A pesar de ello, no me causó problemas.
