Fedora 24 Release Party Panama Report

On Saturday July 2th we celebrate the 24th release of Fedora with a release party that we held at the offices of Rootstack (Website, Twitter).

Jose Reyes exposed about the new features on Fedora 24. Christian Lima showed the basics on pentesting. Alejandro Pérez and Luis Bazán explained the importance of participating on Fedora Project. I helped out with upgrade issues and new installations.

During the event, we had BBQ, cooked by Guillermo Torres (BTW, happy birthday!).

From this release party I can tell we are working on two new contributors: one from Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá and another from Universidad Interamericana de Panamá.

I appreciate the work done by Guillermo Torres and Roostack coordinating the space.

See you at the next release party!
