Tucan: An alternative to "JDownloader"

Hi! From now on, I will be writing occasionally, some entries related to alternatives to commonly used applications.

On this occasion will present an alternative, complete and powerful, to JDownloader. JDownloader is a open source (some parts of the code are closed) download manager, written in Java, which allows automatic download of hosting sites.

From my experience and the experience of some friends, JDownloader has never been 100% efficient, so we investigate on the web for something with the same functionalities, and we found a much faster and full open source application. The application that we found is called Tucan Manager.

Tucan Manager is a simple yet practical tool to download files from hosting sites, without waiting for the link to become available. You can add all the links you want. Tucan will download them while we do something else. Furthermore, by adding the link, the program will check those links are functional.
